Appearance: Here, of particular note is that he's frequently described as very handsome, and his eyes are a striking shade of green often likened to the aurora.
Abilities:
Other than being a skilled soldier, Lu Feng has the ability to discern whether or not someone is completely 'human'. This is used within his setting to weed out individuals who have been infected by xenogenics. Lu Feng is noted to have never carried out an execution incorrectly, but this does not mean his intuition is completely foolproof. His judgements appear to stem from some combination of being able to perceive extremely minute behaviors that are 'inhuman' as well as picking out who may be a threat, but those who have grown up in radically different environments than him may be given a pass.
That said, if you have an otherwise human-passing non-human character and you don't want Lu Feng to ping their true nature, please comment on this post and let me know! I'm more than happy to let him be wrong in such an unfamiliar setting, and executing non-humans is not his job anymore. Sniffing out every single non-human is not vital to humanity's survival right now, it's fine.

Mindreading: For sure! He has no real means of resisting this, just let me know if it's coming and I can give you some juicy introspection to read.
IC Personal Boundaries/Warnings: He's kind of a dick but unlikely to really hurt anyone who isn't trying to come at him first. He is also not very likely to open up to just anyone, but his role in his series had him doing a whole lot of State Sanctioned Murder, so if it's a topic that's off-limits for you/your character it can definitely be avoided.

SO!!! Kel is a word of god aroace! Love that for her! However, when I, a real life aroace, consider Pierce's explanation here and compare it with the things that actually happen in the books, I find myself inclined to gently place Kel more on the gray end of the spectrum.

All this is to say, I'm not generally playing Kel with an aim for shipping, but if a character dynamic ends up lending itself to that, I'm down to explore it. Feel free to message me to ask about any of this.

tbh I will personally ship just about anything if there's even a smidge of chemistry, I'm a fiend like that, I'll just be a little more reserved about making things game canon
